Stuart Mead is an experienced leader with a strong background in the biomedical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Chairman at Amparo, where the focus is on enhancing prosthetic care for amputees, and as Non Executive Chairman at HKR Insight Limited, which aims to improve knee replacement quality and rehabilitation. As Executive Chairman of Adapttech, Stuart oversees the development of innovative wearable technologies for those with physical limitations. Previous roles include CEO positions at Fuel3D, where advanced scanning technology for product personalization was developed, and Eykona Medical Limited, known for cutting-edge 3D wound imaging systems. Stuart also led Touchbionics as CEO, establishing it as a leader in bionic technology, and has extensive experience in contract manufacturing as CEO of Excell Biotech Limited. Education includes a DMS in Management studies from the University of Hertfordshire, following attendance at Aldenham School.
