EJ Osborne is an accomplished computational biologist with extensive experience in large scale data analysis, particularly in immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases. Currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Computational Biologist at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since March 2021, EJ specializes in assay development, machine learning applications for TCR-antigen data, and coordinating with business development to identify therapeutic targets. Prior roles include Senior Computational Biologist at Adaptive Biotechnologies from January 2018 to March 2020, and post-doctoral researcher at the University of Utah School of Medicine focusing on the genetic basis of human pathogen phenotypes. EJ began a career at the University of Utah as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting research on genotypic-phenotypic connections across various model organisms. EJ holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Utah and a BSc in Evolutionary Biology from The University of British Columbia.
