Marie Weiskopf is an accomplished legal professional specializing in patent law, currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Patents at Meta since November 2021. In addition, Marie co-founded ADAPT.legal in May 2022, where Marie also serves on the Steering Committee. Previously, Marie held roles at Facebook, Miller Nash LLP, and Marger Johnson, focusing on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications across mechanical, electrical, and computer arts. Marie has extensive experience assisting a diverse range of companies, from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations, in securing protection for their innovations. Marie began their career as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and holds a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
