Kanaiya Thakker is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the corporate sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Legal at Adani Enterprises Limited since May 2022, Kanaiya has previously held prominent legal roles including Joint President and Head of Legal & Compliance at Ambuja Cements Ltd, General Counsel at UltraTech Cement, and General Counsel at Asian Paints. Additional experience includes significant legal positions at Suzlon Energy, HCL Technologies, and Enercon Power Ltd, among others. Kanaiya holds an ACS in Corporate Laws from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, an LL.B from the University of Mumbai, and a B.Com in Accounts and Tax from the same university.
