Ashogran Mestry is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of diversified experience in quality and project management within the petrochemical and power generation sectors. Currently serving as the Quality and Risk Manager at ACWA Power since July 2021, Ashogran previously held prominent roles at GE and GE Power, including Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager and Piping Quality Manager, where responsibilities encompassed technical advising on welding quality, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with quality control plans on major projects like the Kusile Power Station. Prior experience includes positions at Alstom Power, Bureau Veritas SA, and Sasol Synfuels International, demonstrating a strong background in inspecting and managing pressurized equipment and quality systems. Ashogran holds a diploma in Welding Inspection and Fabrication from the South African Institute of Welding.
