Chaka September has been working in the tech industry since 2015. Chaka began their career as an Android Engineer at Drayson Technologies Ltd, before moving on to Lloyds Banking Group in 2017, where they continued to work as an Android Engineer. In 2019, they became a Volunteer at Performers Without Borders, and in 2020, they took on the role of Android Developer at Acurable.

Chaka September attended Aberystwyth University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
