Chesterfield Polkey is a Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen, LLC since July 2020, with a solid background in legislative research and policy analysis. Previous experience includes a Legislative Intern role at the United States Senate, where Chesterfield documented congressional briefings and drafted research memos on various policy topics. Chesterfield served as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow at both the National Conference of State Legislatures and Just Harvest, focusing on hunger-related policy research and community organizing. Earlier positions include a Legislative Affairs Intern with the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, Management Analyst for the State of Minnesota, and Real Change Fellow for RESULTS. Chesterfield holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Macalester College and studied international development in Dakar, Senegal.
