Sumuduni Sasikala has gained extensive experience in software quality engineering, starting as an Intern at Pearson in 2017 and progressing to roles such as Associate Software Quality Engineer, Senior Software Quality Engineer, and Associate Lead of Software Quality Engineering. Currently serving as the Lead of Software Quality Engineering at Acumatica since 2023.

Sumuduni Sasikala completed their Higher Education Qualification at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT from 2013 to 2016. Sumuduni then pursued a Masters in Information Technology at the University of Colombo School of Computing from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in software testing and incident response between 2021 and 2022.
