Sam Korn has over 9 years of professional experience in the fields of Machine Learning, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. In 2021, they began working as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at AcuityMD. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at PrecisionGx, where they designed cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for detecting health insurance fraud and developed robust data ingestion and analysis infrastructure. Also from 2019-2021, they worked as a Computer Science Tutor at Varsity Tutors, where they received positive feedback from students. From 2018-2019, they worked as an Arts/STEM Teaching Fellow at North Country School, where they instructed students in programming and robotics principles. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Technical Advisor and Administrative Assistant at Penn Dental Medicine, where they developed applications for data-driven scheduling and task management. From 2016-2017, they worked as an AI Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where they aggregated research papers on navigation functions and defended a classification taxonomy for autonomous motion planning algorithms. Finally, from 2012-2016, they worked as an Administrative and Technical Assistant at Talkler Labs, LLC.

Sam Korn attended Belmont High School from 2010 to 2014 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
