Morganne Gagne has been in the software engineering field since 2014. Morganne began their career as a Technical Service Associate at St. Jude Medical, where they were selected for a full-time engineering position and sales training program. After completing the company requirements in less than two years, they were promoted to Technical Services Specialist. In 2016, they joined Abbott as a Technical Service Specialist, where they provided implant support during pacemaker and ICD system implants and upgrades, as well as clinical support for device programming, follow-up and advanced troubleshooting. Morganne also operated the EnSite mapping software and provided intraoperative support during ablations of tachyarrhythmias. In 2018, they joined ezCater as an Associate Software Engineer, then moved up to Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Later that same year, they took on a Contract Software Engineer role at NextDroid. In 2022, they joined AcuityMD as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead.
Morganne Gagne graduated from Duke University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. In 2012, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at Queen Mary University of London in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In 2018, they completed a Software Engineering Immersive Program at the Flatiron School. In 2017, they obtained a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) from IBHRE, and is currently working towards a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners.
