Actriv Healthcare is seeking a Compliance Specialist for our Tacoma, Washington office. This is an in-person office position, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Responsibilties

  • Auditing, monitoring, tracking, trending, and reporting compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements; managing and reducing compliance risks.
  • Documenting compliance activities, advising leadership and management on compliance matters, and liaising with government agencies.
  • Answering email correspondence and uploading documents in all compliance emails throughout the day.
  • Answering all compliance calls and completing tasks associated with the calls.
  • Run compliance reports to ensure providers are complying with all requirements for their positions as healthcare workers.
  • Upload credentials in our Talent Management System, making sure to journal any communication with providers.
  • Upload all HR documents in our Employee / HR Management System to ensure state and federal requirements are being met.
  • Work closely with staffing to make ensure credential files are sent to any facilities we are staffing.
  • Work closely with our facilities to ensure any special requirements are communicated to the correct department. completed, and received by them.
  • Work closely with recruiting making sure all new hires have all required documents uploaded a credential file completed.

Qualifications

  • Associates or higher in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Previous experience in healthcare or HR
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
  • Tech-inclined, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, HR-related software
  • Knowledge of licensing and staffing requirements
  • Internal and external-facing customer service
  • Can-do attitude and team spirit
