Miguel Manalastas is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, where responsibilities include mentoring and facilitating discussions for medical students. Miguel also holds multiple physician roles at Healthway Medical, ACTIVEONE HEALTH, INC., and Health Maintenance, Inc. Additionally, Miguel works as a Research Associate and Coordinator at the Alliance for Initiating Health Outcomes, focusing on a project aimed at improving health financing and policy in the Philippines. Prior experience includes leading a documentation team at the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation and medical internships at The Medical City and Ospital ng Makati. Miguel holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Public Health from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University.
