Elly Knepper has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. Elly started their career as a Fundraiser at UW Foundation in 2010 and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they had internships at FocalPoint Partners, LLC as an Investment Banking Intern and at Marketstaff as a Human Resource Manager.
From 2013 to 2016, Elly joined Walgreens, where they initially worked as a Finance Development Rotational Program participant. During this program, they gained experience in Community Management Finance and Corporate Accounting. Later, they became a Senior Financial Analyst in Marketing Finance, where they were responsible for delivering the Marketing Investment Budget and presenting monthly performance to leadership.
In 2016, Elly joined Tribune Media as a Senior Financial Analyst, providing financial and operational support for the Television & Entertainment segment. Elly'sresponsibilities included managing budgets and forecasts and leading a cost-saving initiative in Telecom expenses.
From 2017 to 2021, Elly worked at Whole Foods Market as a Senior Financial Analyst. Elly played a key role in managing expense budgets for Marketing and Merchandising, reducing overall spend, and incorporating costs for strategic initiatives. Elly also created a business process and training instructions for a new forecasting tool and prepared weekly business reviews to provide insights into business trends.
Currently, Elly holds the position of Finance Manager - Sales & Marketing at ActiveCampaign, starting in 2021.
Elly Knepper began their education in 2009 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Accounting & Finance. Elly completed their studies at the university in 2013. In 2012, Elly also attended the ESIC Business & Marketing School for a brief period, where they earned a second Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
