Dr. Malak Elbassuny has worked as a Food Safety Researcher at the National Food Safety Authority since 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Health and Wellness Coach at Active Wellness in 2018. From 2010, they worked as a Chemist Research Specialist at the Central Laboratories of Medical Research and Blood Banking of the Military Armed Forces. Additionally, they worked as a Health Coach at Max Gym from 2019 to 2020.

Dr. Malak Elbassuny has a diverse education history. Dr.Malak Elbassuny obtained a diploma in Applied Forensic Chemistry from Alexandria University. Dr.Malak Elbassuny furthered their studies at Tanta University, where they earned a Master's degree in Biology/Toxicology. Dr. Elbassuny also holds a Certified Health Professional qualification in Obesity Management from the World Obesity Federation. Currently, they are pursuing a Professional Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences at Cairo University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
