Ted DeFrank has been in the biotech industry for over 30 years. Ted started their career as VP of Operations at Stratagene Cloning Systems in 1986. Ted then moved to Invitrogen in 1996 and became their COO. In 2000, they became President of Pierce Biotechnology. Ted was then an interim CEO and Board Director at Assay Designs from 2006 to 2007. Ted is currently the CEO & President at Active Motif.
