Markian Sich has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Markian started their career as a Midshipman in the United States Navy from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also worked as an intern at the US Navy, National Reconnaissance Office for a brief period of 6 weeks in 2011.

Following their service in the Navy, Markian joined the Marine Aviation Training Support Group 21 as a Student Naval Aviator from 2014 to 2016. Markian then transitioned to become a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps from 2016 to 2019.

In 2016, Markian founded Ukrainian Immigrant, a platform that connects young professionals who travel the world and explore western business opportunities. Markian held the role of Founder for several months before moving on to their next venture.

Markian's passion for entrepreneurship led him to establish Active Duty Passive Income in 2017, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. Active Duty Passive Income is a website that provides resources and information for military personnel to achieve financial independence.

Throughout their career, Markian has demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills through their roles as a Communication Strategy & Operations Officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2013 to 2021.

Markian Sich attended Knoxville Catholic High School from 2006 to 2009. Markian then went on to the United States Naval Academy, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from 2009 to 2013. During their time at the Naval Academy, they pursued a double major in Computer Science and Information Technology, with a minor in Russian. In November 2012, they also received a certification in SEC 504 Incident Handling Training through a Mentor Session at the SANS Institute.
