Garrett Bantom serves as the DEI Manager at Activate since September 2023, focusing on developing and managing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Previously, Bantom held the role of Program Manager for Diversity & Inclusion at Meta from August 2020 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading DEI learning programs and scaling the Community Circles program. Prior experiences also include serving as the Director of Programs & Engagement at Teach For America, where Bantom designed impactful DEI programs and conducted landscape analyses for participant needs. Earlier roles include various program management and teaching positions across KIPP Jacksonville Schools, the University of North Florida, and Clark Atlanta University. Bantom holds a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Florida.
