Sofia Côrte-Real Mendoça currently serves as General Manager at Action since February 2024. Previously, Mendoça held the position of Diretora de operações at Dukan Retailing Company from August 2021 to December 2022, and was Directora Nacional de Operações at DIA Brasil between September 2019 and August 2021. Earlier roles include Directora de Unidade de Negocio and Directora de Analise de Negocio at Candando Hipermercado from July 2015 to August 2019, as well as Directora de Projecto and Directora de Hipermercado at KERO (Zahara Comércio, S.A.) from September 2013 to June 2015. Mendoça's experience also encompasses Directora de Vendas at Lidl in Deutschland (September 2012 - August 2013) and Chefe de Zona de Vendas at Lidl Portugal (June 2005 - August 2012), along with a logistical management role at Ramazzotti from January 2004 to May 2005. Mendoça's educational background includes an MBA from The Lisbon MBA Católica | Nova (2023), a postgraduate degree in management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (2019), and a Licentiate degree in Engenharia e Gestão Industrial from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (2001).
