David Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career as a Consultant at Detica in 1990 and later became the Group HR Director, serving in this role until 2005. David then worked as the Group HR Director at Morse from 2006 to 2008 and at aquilaheywood from 2010 to 2012. Mitchell subsequently took on various roles, including Integration Manager, at Anite from 2015 to 2016. David was also a Business Change Consultant and Group HR Director at GCI from 2019 to 2020. Mitchell has held interim positions such as Interim Head of HR at Attraqt from 2021 to 2022 and Interim CPO at Actica Consulting in early 2023. Currently, Mitchell is the Chief People Officer at Actica Consulting, where they utilize their extensive HR expertise. In their previous roles, they have demonstrated success in areas such as acquisitions, integration, business process redesign, and cost control.

David Mitchell completed their BSc (Hons) in Physics at Imperial College London from 1982 to 1985. David then pursued their PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics at the same institution from 1985 to 1988. After that, they undertook a Post Doc in Theoretical Physics at Princeton University from 1988 to 1990.
