Karen Ávila is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in product engineering, system integration, and robotic process automation in the automotive industry. Currently employed at General Motors South America, Karen specializes in Virtual Design Operations. Previous roles include working as a System Integration Engineer at Stellantis South America, where responsibilities encompassed vehicle simulation validation and the development of the Virtual Center for South America. Karen has also contributed to robotic design at New Design Modeling and reverse engineering projects at STEP Engineering & Design. With a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Civil Engineering from PUC Minas, as well as pursuing an MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data from ICMC - USP, Karen combines strong technical knowledge with innovative solutions to enhance engineering processes.
