René Bonvanie joined the Acronis Board of Directors in February 2014, bringing over more than 30 years of product marketing, business development, and general management experience from roles at INGRES, Oracle, VERITAS, Business Objects, SAP, Salesforce.com, Serena Software, and Palo Alto Networks.

René was Chief Marketing Officer of Palo Alto Networks for more than a decade and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Strategic Accounts. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Collibra, Nexthink, and Guardsquare.

René speaks four languages and has an Economics degree from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
