Shymaa Tarek has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design and art management. Shymaa started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Innoventures in 2016. In 2018, they worked as an Instructional Designer at Nahdet Misr Publishing Group and later joined Mahatat for contemporary art as a Jr. Art Manager. Shymaa also worked as a Freelance Storyboard Artist during the same time. In 2019, they joined Flare Studio as a Creative Sr. Designer/Concept Artist. Most recently, they worked at Rimedia Events and Marketing as a Sr. Creative Designer. Currently, they are working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Acquaint Communications.

Shymaa Tarek attended El-Sadat Exp. Language School and completed their high school education in an unspecified year prior to 2012. Following this, they enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Arts at Helwan University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design from 2012 to 2017. Alternatively, they also attended the Faculty of Applied Arts, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree in this institution. Their field of study throughout their education was primarily focused on art.
