Muhammad Faizan Shabbir is an experienced software engineer with a solid background in the development and implementation of image processing algorithms across multiple platforms. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Acorns since November 2020, Muhammad previously held roles at Yelp, where duties included Tech Lead and Software Engineer from November 2017 to November 2020. Muhammad's early career featured positions at TrueCar, Inc., as a Data Engineer and Data Science Intern, and at Ozcan Photonics Research Group as a Junior Development Engineer and Laboratory Research Assistant. Educationally, Muhammad earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UCLA.
