Kewen Zhao is a software engineer intern with significant experience across leading tech companies. Currently interning at Meta within the Compliance team, focusing on LLM and RAG since May 2024, Kewen previously interned at Amazon, contributing to the Alexa dashboard and infrastructure as code. Prior experience includes developing a parking spot reservation feature using NodeJS, AWS, and S3 at Proko Tech LLC, and engaging in undergraduate research at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute at UC San Diego under the guidance of Professors Jingbo Shang and Zhiting Hu. Additionally, Kewen worked as a CSE tutor at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, providing assistance in introductory programming and advanced data structures and algorithms while implementing and maintaining a grading server with Python and C++. Kewen Zhao is pursuing a Master's degree in Intelligent Information System at Carnegie Mellon University, expected to finish in December 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics from UC San Diego, completed in 2023.
