John Veage is an experienced photographer and journalist currently serving as a Chief Photographer at Fairfax Community Newspapers and a Journalist/Photographer at Australian Community Media since January 2019. With a long-standing commitment to the field, John has been the Official Photographer for Cycling Australia Inc. since 1999 and has held the position of Chief Photographer at Fairfax Media since 1995. Additionally, John has contributed as a Photographer for Surf Life Saving Australia since 1985. Educationally, John completed the HSC at Kirrawee High School, earned a Diploma of Teaching from the University of Wollongong, and obtained a Photography Certificate from Sydney TAFE.
