Gillian Branstetter is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in media relations and strategic communication. Currently serving as a Communications Strategist at the ACLU since April 2022, Branstetter previously held positions as Press Secretary and Media Relations at the National Women's Law Center from January 2020 to April 2022. A freelance writer from January 2013 to January 2020, Branstetter specialized in analyzing and reporting on technology, politics, security, privacy, and media. Additional experience includes Media Relations Manager at the National Center for Transgender Equality and contributions as a Freelance Contributor for The Daily Dot. Branstetter also worked as an Executive Assistant at Hempfield Behavioral Health. Branstetter earned a degree from Capital College, Pennsylvania State University, from 2007 to 2011.
