Shih Ying Chang, PhD, is a seasoned atmospheric data scientist currently serving as a Senior Atmospheric Data Scientist at Aclima, Inc. since November 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager and Air Quality Scientist at Sonoma Technology, Inc., where emissions and air quality modeling projects were managed using advanced data-driven techniques. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science in Environmental Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from National Taiwan University. Research experience encompasses extensive work with numerical models, optimization algorithms, and statistical methods to address air pollution challenges.
