Anna Liau started their work experience as an Audit Senior at PwC from September 1989 to March 1993. Anna then worked as an Enforcement Attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from February 1996 to January 1998. Anna then joined Bryan Cave as an Associate from August 1999 to March 2004, where they defended broker-dealers and investment advisers in SEC investigations and provided guidance on regulatory and compliance issues. Most recently, Anna served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at ACI International/L.A. Gear, Inc. from March 2004 onwards. In this role, they negotiated and drafted trademark license agreements, managed the company's trademark and patent portfolio, and ensured contract compliance of international licensees.
Anna Liau attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to that, they attended UCLA from 1986 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics/Business. In January 1992, Anna Liau became a Certified Public Accountant certified by the California Board of Accountancy. Additionally, in June 1996, they became a member of the State Bar of California.
