Mimi S. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and the performing arts. Currently serving as a Museum Educator at The Newark Museum of Art since February 2024, Mimi also holds a long-standing position as an Instructor at Newark Public Schools, where responsibilities included long-term substitute teaching for autistic and special needs classes from 2004 to the present. In addition, Mimi has been a Behavioral Therapist at Achievement Behavior Services since July 2023, specializing in ABA Therapy. With a background in theater, Mimi served as an actor from 1990 to February 2024 and worked as an Acting Teacher at Children's Theatre Workshop from 2008 to 2019, where responsibilities included instruction, scriptwriting, and directing for children ages 7-18. Mimi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Thomas Edison State University.
