Ming Huo has a range of work experience in the engineering field. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they were a leader in several research projects, including one sponsored by Ford Motor Company. During this time, they focused on validating and improving computation models for intake flow in diesel engine cylinder heads. They also made significant advancements in fuel/air mixing enhancement with specific port configurations.

After their time at the university, Ming Huo worked as an AVPD Combustion Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., where they contributed to combustion engineering initiatives. They then moved on to EcoMotors, where they worked as an Engine Combustion Specialist for three years.

Currently, Ming Huo is working at Achates Power as a Senior Development Engineer. The duration of this role is ongoing, with no specified end date provided.

Ming Huo has a solid education background in mechanical engineering. Starting from 2003 to 2007, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University.
