Bilgin Bengi Birgi has extensive experience in various roles within the shipping and education sectors. Currently serving as a Gönüllü Eğitmen at ACEV - Anne Cocuk Egitim Vakfi since September 2010, Bilgin previously held the position of Pazarlama Müdürü at Inchape Shipping from August 2007 to April 2009. Other notable roles include Şube Müdürü at SBB Shipping between October 2004 and May 2007 and Pazarlama Sorumlusu at Şark Ekspres Vapur Acentaliği from September 1992 to April 2003. Bilgin's career began with a marketing role at Arkas Denizcilik from October 1989 to January 1992. Educationally, Bilgin holds a Lisans Derecesi in Italian Language and Literature from Ankara University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
