Mark Becnel has held several roles throughout their work experience. Mark started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also served as an Intern at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, where they operated the Inertia Electrostatic Confinement Device and developed the Inertial Electrostatic Confinement Diffusion Thruster.
In 2014, Mark joined RadioBro Corporation, where they held the position of President until 2022. Additionally, they served as the Chairman of the Board starting in 2022.
In 2008, Mark volunteered for the American Red Cross.
In 2022, Mark took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at both Technology for Energy Corp. and ACES Systems.
Mark Becnel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from the University of New Orleans, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Mark then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2011 to 2013. Between 2007 and 2008, Mark spent a year studying at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, although it is not specified what degree or field of study they pursued during that time.
