Sarah B. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Sarah started their career as a Science Editorial Intern at Pearson Education in 2010. Sarah then served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Geosciences at Denison University from 2010 to 2013. Sarah later joined Teach For America as an Operations Coordinator in 2012 and AmeriCorps as a Summer AmeriCorps Member in 2011.

In 2013, Sarah became an Account Executive at Hernandez & Garcia, LLC, where they organized events, provided creative directions for advertisements, and presented in board meetings. Sarah also worked at Noble Network of Charter Schools from 2013 to 2016, initially as a Teacher-At-Large and later as a Teaching Resident. During this time, they co-taught classes, served as an in-house substitute, and participated in a teaching residency program.

From 2016 to 2018, Sarah worked as a Middle School Humanities and STEM Teacher at the Archdiocese of Chicago. In 2018, they joined Bennett Day School as the Founding Upper School Lead Teacher and Project-Based Learning Curator. In this role, they were responsible for creating a culturally responsive project-based curriculum and ensuring interdisciplinary instruction in design thinking, humanities, and STEM. Sarah also participated in the New School Creation Fellowship with High Tech High Graduate School of Education to develop the school's core values from an equity and deeper learning lens.

Most recently, in 2021, Sarah joined High Tech High as a School Leadership Resident at High Tech Middle Mesa.

Sarah B. has a strong education background with a focus on education and teaching. Sarah obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from High Tech High Graduate School of Education between 2021 and 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 6-12 Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education from 2014 to 2017. Sarah'sundergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts, was earned from Denison University from 2009 to 2013, with a focus on Geosciences and English Writing.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained certifications in other areas. Sarah completed the Data Wise Leadership Institute from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in June 2017. In April 2016, they obtained a Level 5 190 Hour Certificate in TEFL/TESOL from the International TEFL Academy. Additionally, Sarah holds a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher (PMA-CPT) certification, although the specific institution and the date of obtaining this certification are unavailable.
