Jim McKelvey is a seasoned entrepreneur and co-founder with a diverse background in technology and finance. As the Founder of Invisibly since June 2016, McKelvey has played a pivotal role in shaping the company. Additionally, as a Co-Founder and Director of Square since January 2009, McKelvey was instrumental in launching the innovative payment platform. McKelvey also co-founded FINTOP Capital and has served as a General Partner since August 2017, while acting as a Director at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis since January 2017. Other notable ventures include founding LaunchCode in July 2013, co-founding Third Degree Glass Factory in 2001, and founding Mira Smart Conference Inc. in 1989. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, McKelvey holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, along with coursework in Statistics and Maths from The London School of Economics. Prior experience includes a stint as a Visiting Scientist at IBM from 1987 to 1989.
