Ivan Ripa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, budgeting, and engineering across renewable energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Global OPEX Budgeting Head at ACCIONA Energía since April 2008, Ivan manages OPEX estimation across multiple technologies including Wind, PV, BESS, and H2, while overseeing international teams. Previous roles at ACCIONA include Asset Control Head and Manager in the Estimates and Cost Analysis Department, focusing on CAPEX and LCOE estimations. Ivan also has experience in project management in biodiesel production plants at Acciona Biocombustibles and has served in various capacities within NGOs, contributing to sustainable energy initiatives and rural electrification projects. Ivan holds two Master of Engineering degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt and Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pública de Navarra.
