Julia Frawley is a Central New Yorker through-and-through. She grew up in Syracuse’s Strathmore neighborhood and attended Holy Rosary before moving to Buffalo to attend college. After earning her master’s degree, Julia worked as an early childhood special education teacher for several Oswego County school districts and BOCES.

Prior to its merger with AccessCNY in 2018, Julia was the president of the Board of Directors for Spaulding Support Services. She was inspired to join the board after seeing the quality of care her sister Nancy received from Spaulding. Julia believes that the staff at Spaulding were Nancy’s second family until her passing.

Julia continues to use her professional and personal experience to advocate for equality and empowerment through her position on the AccessCNY Board of Directors.
