Richard Childress has extensive experience in emergency medical services and management, currently serving as the Regional Manager for Innovative Solutions at Access2Care since February 2022. Richard has been the President Emeritus of the International Association of Flight and Critical Care Paramedics since 2009 and has held various roles including Flight Paramedic and Regional Business Development Manager at Med-Trans Corporation from 2010 to 2022. Richard has also contributed to several committees, including as Chairman of the Awards Committee for the Association of Air Medical Services and as a team member on the South Carolina DHEC Stroke Advisory Council. With a background that includes overseeing personnel in emergency services as Chief of Emergency Services in Isle of Wight County, Richard possesses a strong educational foundation in public administration and emergency medical technology from institutions such as James Madison University and The George Washington University.
