Manuela (Ella) James is a dedicated psychological therapies and EMDR practitioner at Manuela James Psychological Therapies since June 2022, with an extensive background as a counselor at AccessEAP since August 2016. Previous roles include Mental Health Practitioner at Metro South Health, Rehabilitation Counselor at WorkCover Queensland, Mental Health Clinician at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, and Case Manager at Mackay Base Hospital. From November 2014 to May 2017, Manuela provided accredited mental health services, family law consultancy, and foster care assessments. Manuela’s expertise encompasses delivering personalized psychological services addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, and involves specialized support for children, adolescents, and vulnerable populations such as asylum seekers and refugees. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Queensland and a Master of Mental Health Practice, among other relevant degrees in counseling and mediation.
