Jessica Bywater has a diverse work experience background. Jessica began their career as a Merchandiser at Macy's in 2011, where they were responsible for early-morning merchandising and organizing inventory according to corporate designs. Jessica worked in this role until April 2013.

From May 2012 to August 2014, Jessica worked as an Administrative Assistant and Ticket Sales representative at Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry. In this position, they handled administrative tasks and assisted with ticket sales.

In 2014, Jessica had two internships. From September to December 2014, they interned at the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Lab, gaining experience and knowledge in that field. Jessica also interned at the Michigan State Police Statewide Network of Agency Photos (SNAP) from May to August 2015.

In September 2014, Jessica joined the Michigan State Student Athlete Support Services as a Student Athlete Tutor, where they provided academic support to student athletes, ensuring they stayed motivated and organized in their studies. Jessica held this role until May 2015.

Since September 2015, Jessica has been working at Accertify, Inc. Jessica started as a Senior Fraud Analyst and held this position until March 2019. Jessica then became a Team Lead, overseeing a team's operations until March 2022. Currently, they are serving as a Product Trainer & Onboarding Specialist, leveraging their expertise to train new hires and facilitate their smooth integration into the company.

Jessica Bywater attended Saginaw Valley State University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Criminal Justice. Jessica then transferred to Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their education, Jessica has obtained several certifications related to emergency planning, including Emergency Planning, ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incident, Introduction to Continuity of Operations, Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS-100), and National Incident Management System (NIMS) an Introduction, all from FEMA.
