Álvaro Madrid is a Global Core Banking Specialist at Intrum since September 2022, responsible for managing the SaaS implementation of the Temenos Transact core banking system and Transact Data Hub in Azure for secured loan portfolios across Europe. Prior to this role, Álvaro served as a Technical Product Owner for Core Banking at Openbank, where the focus was on the cloud implementation of Temenos Transact in AWS for the retail banking sector. Álvaro's earlier experience includes working as a Temenos Transact Consultant at Cognizant, contributing to the implementation of core banking systems in AWS, and as a Global Transaction Banking Analyst at BBVA. Academic qualifications include a Dual Bachelor in Economics and International Relations from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a Postgraduate degree in Java Web and Cloud Application Development from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
