Jose Alvarez has over 15 years of work experience in the field of physical therapy. Jose Alvarez started their career in 2005 as a Regional Director of Physical Therapy at Rancho Physical Therapy, where they worked for 11 years. In 2016, they joined Select Medical as a Physical Therapist. In 2017, they moved to AccentCare, initially working as a Regional Director of Operations before being promoted to Vice President of Operations. Jose Alvarez continues to work in this role at AccentCare.

Jose Alvarez PT, DPT, OCS, CFNS completed their Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise at Texas Tech University from 1996 to 1998. Jose Alvarez then went on to pursue their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Chapman University, specializing in Physical Therapy/Therapist, from 2001 to 2004. In March 2015, they obtained certification as a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist from Exercise & Nutrition Works, Inc.
