Daniel Trnka has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2004, they served as the Director of Applied Technologies at Stewart Title. During this time, they built a technical support organization, instilled a culture of customer service, and led a team of 25 employees in supporting day-to-day activities of more than 1,500 users across 65 branches. Daniel also significantly reduced operating expenses by reengineering the wide-area network using new technologies while introducing fail-over redundancy and increasing bandwidth. In addition, they automated a repetitive job function by developing a bank wire data collection and reconciliation system that freed several full-time employees across the entire organization to focus on more productive tasks.
From 2004 to 2011, Daniel worked at Thomson Reuters as a Technical Designer (Software Architect). During this time, they were responsible for the core software architecture and API of the 3000Xtra Market Suite (now EIKON), the world's top financial market analysis software package, with annual revenues in excess of $1.4B, and deployed in more than 100,000 financial institutions and businesses worldwide. Daniel also authored an algorithm to identify the asset class of any traded financial instrument almost immediately.
From 2011 to 2014, Daniel worked at SICPA as the Manager of Engineering, Global Operations & Customer Service. SICPA is the worldwide leader of security inks for currencies and sensitive documents, including U.S. Dollars and passports.
From 2014 to 2019, Daniel worked at Sunset District S.L. as the General Manager. During this time, they were responsible for defining and implementing the operational, marketing, and financial strategies for the company. In 2015, they focused on automation and increasing the value of the company's Hostal Balearic brand. It included a revised definition of its target market and a repositioning of its value proposition to align it with opportunities.
Since 2019, Daniel has been working at Accent Gold Solutions as the Technical Project Manager. In this role, they manage new software and infrastructure deployment projects of Dynamic DSM, an industry-leading demand-side and energy efficiency project management suite for utility companies powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365. Daniel also manages IT Service Management processes using ITIL v3 methodolgy and Business Relationship Management for established customers.
Daniel Trnka obtained an AA in Information Technology from University of Phoenix in 2011. Daniel then completed a PMP Certificate Program from Villanova University in 2011. In 2013, they earned a BSc in Business, Global Management and International Trade from University of Phoenix School of Business. In 2014, Daniel completed the SICPA Development Program Micro-MBA in Innovation Management and Business Development from University of Geneva. Finally, in 2015, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from University of Phoenix School of Business. In addition, Daniel obtained a Cyber Security Essentials certification from Lexsi in October 2014.
