Melissa Durell is a public relations professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Melissa is the CEO and founder of Durrell Communications, a global PR agency that specializes in amplifying changemakers through thoughtful and progressive communications strategies. Melissa has also served as a partner and VP of marketing and communications at Roseview Global Incubator, where they helped fuel the next generation of Canadian companies. In their role as an investor pitch and presentation coach specialist at Accelerator Centre, Melissa works with startups on perfecting their pitch and telling their stories in a way that sticks. Melissa is also an advisor for Future Focus Inc and a business mentor for Innovation Guelph. In addition to their professional achievements, Melissa has also been very active in their community, serving as a director of media and PR for Women's March Global and host of the Women's March Canada Weekly Podcast. Melissa also has 8 years of experience as an uptown city councillor for the City of Waterloo.
