Israa Ismail has worked as a Lead Technical Consultant at Accela since December 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Technical Consultant at the same company from February 2016 to December 2022. Before joining Accela, Israa worked as a Software Developer at SAJAYA from April 2012 to February 2016.

Israa Ismail obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering Technology,BAU, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications including "Designing RESTful APIs" from LinkedIn in November 2022, "Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 1 Projects, Boards, and Issues" from LinkedIn in October 2021, "Learning Microsoft Project" from LinkedIn in October 2021, and "Certified ITIL 4 Foundation" from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2020.
