Andy Lynch has over 25 years of experience in the energy and electrical industry. Andy is currently the EVP of Business & Project Development and Principal at Academy Energy Group, LLC, where they oversee the design-build, consulting, and distribution services. Prior to that, they worked as Division Energy Manager and Energy Solutions Advisor at Gexpro, where they developed and implemented energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Andy also worked at Brook Electric as a Business Development Manager, where they supplied advanced electrical systems and custom lighting for notable projects. Earlier in their career, Andy worked as an Account Manager at WESCO Distribution, SYLVANIA, and Juno Lighting Group. Andy has a strong background in sales and project management in the lighting and energy field.

Andy Lynch's education history began in 1978 when they attended St. Mary's of Buffalo Grove. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. From 1985 to 1989, Andy attended Loyola Academy where they pursued a College Prep degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Following this, from 1989 to 1993, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Urban & Regional Planning. Apart from their formal education, Andy also obtained a certification as a Procore Certified: Project Manager from Procore Technologies in September 2018.
