Neil Marquardt is an experienced executive in the publishing and education sectors, currently serving as Vice President at Academic Partnerships since April 2024. Marquardt's previous roles include Vice President of Author Relations at Cengage from May 2019 to April 2024, Chief Product Officer at Van-Griner Publishing, and various leadership positions at Cengage, including VP and General Manager of 4LTR Press & Student Services. Early in the career, Marquardt held significant roles at Thomson Learning and Wolters Kluwer, contributing as Publisher and Senior Acquisitions Editor, respectively. Marquardt began the professional journey in 1995 at Pearson North America as a Senior Acquisitions Editor. Educationally, Marquardt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 1987 and 1991.
