Dylan Logan is a Technical Leader in Silicon Photonics at Acacia Communications, now part of Cisco, since May 2023. Prior to this role, Dylan held various positions at RANOVUS Inc. from November 2012 to May 2023, including Principal Engineer and Senior Technical Lead, managing silicon photonics R&D activities and leading a team of designers. Dylan's expertise extends to design authority for a silicon photonic component of a commercial product and the successful transfer of manufacturing and testing processes for high-volume production. Additionally, Dylan has experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, focusing on AlGaAs Bragg reflector waveguides, and as a postgraduate student at McMaster University, where research concentrated on active silicon photonic devices. Dylan earned a Ph.D. and a B.Eng. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
