Davide Basco is a highly experienced scientist specializing in neuroinflammation with a robust background in research and leadership. Currently serving as Team Leader and Senior Scientist at AC Immune since January 2018, Davide oversees cross-functional teams, ensuring timely completion of project objectives and effective communication while managing budgets and resources. Previous positions include Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Lausanne, where Davide planned and conducted research in neuroendocrinology, and Temporary Research Associate at Università degli Studi di Bari, leading a team focused on neuromuscular pathophysiology. Davide holds a PhD in Physiology and Cellular and Molecular Biotechnologies from Università degli Studi di Bari, complemented by degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biological Sciences.
