Shaheed Abdulhaqq is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in immunology and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Team Lead at Absci since October 2020, Abdulhaqq previously held the position of Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at Oregon Health & Science University from May 2015 to October 2020. Early career roles included Visiting Scientist and Graduate Student at The Wistar Institute, alongside a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, where the thesis focused on SIV/HIV-1 infection determinants in the female reproductive tract.
