Blake Fief is a dedicated data engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the biotechnology and brewing industries. Currently employed at Absci since March 2021, Blake has progressed through several positions, including LIMS Associate and Research Associate II and I. Prior experience includes a Brewery Trainee Co-op at Anheuser-Busch and operational roles at Worthy Brewing, where responsibilities encompassed pilot plant production and adherence to cGMPs. Blake's early career includes contributions to product development at AuST Group and laboratory assistance at Oregon State Horticulture Genetics, where efforts involved gene sequencing and breeding recommendations. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from Oregon State University.
